How to Get There:
FLYING:
BARCELONA is 1 and 3/4 hours drive to Las Pinas. EasyJet, British Airways, RyanAir. and Iberia fly from UK.
GIRONA (Costa Brava Airport) is 3/4 hour away RyanAir.
PERPIGNAN on the French border is about one and a half hours drive to Las Pinas RyanAir
Both Perpignan and Girona are also served by UK charter flights. Try your travel agent or the internet.
FROM AIRPORT TO VILLA:
There is a Shuttle service from Barcelona and Girona airports to front door of the villa. We think it is very expensive - not much different than taxis.
We recommend renting a car as there is so much to explore and there are gems of restaurants a few minutes inland. Marius Rentacar is a small company. You'll clear the airport quickly with them. Their website does not give quotes - ask for a quote. If you prefer larger companies: Ryan Air have a tie in with Hertz and EasyJet with Europcar . You should approach these car companies from the airlines websites, entering your flight number to get their lowest rental rates.
DRIVING FROM UK:
Many people drive to Pals from the UK using the channel tunnel / ferries. Cheaper rates are usually on offer by Norfolk Line for the Dover-Dunkirk crossing. Pals is about 820 miles from The Channel and takes about 13 driving hours.
